Skipped the mold bake and learned the hard way
Honestly, I was trying to finish a job fast and didn't let the mold bake long enough. Tbh, I figured the leftover heat would handle it. When I poured the bronze, the mold cracked and metal leaked everywhere. Ngl, I had to scrap the whole piece and start over. I realized that rushing never pays off in this work. Now, I set a timer and never cut corners on drying time. It's a simple thing that avoids big messes.
