I finally embraced AI for brainstorming after clinging to old methods
I used to be totally against using AI for creative work, believing it would kill the human touch. Remember when we all just used pens and paper for ideas, you know, before everything went digital? Well, a few months ago, I was stuck on a blog post and decided to try an AI idea generator. It threw out some wild concepts I never would have come up with on my own. Now, I use it to jumpstart my mind when I'm stuck. It's not about letting the AI do the work, but more like having a co-pilot for my brain. I miss the simplicity of old ways, but this tool has honestly made me more productive. In the end, I realized that innovation doesn't have to replace us, it can just give us a boost.

My friend Sara, a graphic designer, fought using AI for mood boards FOR MONTHS. She caved during a crazy deadline week, and the tool spat out this wild sunset color palette she'd never have picked. Now she calls it her "lazy assistant" for rough drafts before she does the real work.

The "lazy assistant" is just a fancy name for the part of your brain that wants to go home early. Good for her.

How long did it take for you to get over the initial weird feeling? I was the same way with using it for marketing ideas for my business, totally swore against it. Now I see it like you said, just a kickstart for my own stuff.
