Warning: My air fryer disaster with frozen chicken wings last Tuesday almost made me quit.

I forgot to pat them dry, so the whole basket steamed for 15 minutes before I realized my mistake and got a soggy, chewy mess instead of crispy skin.

Oh man, that's the worst! I always throw mine in a bowl with a tiny bit of oil and cornstarch now. It makes a huge difference for getting that crispy skin.

Wait, baking powder on chicken skin? I used to think that sounded weird too. But I tried it once on some wings, just a light dusting. The skin got so much crispier and had these little crunchy bubbles. Totally changed how I make oven fried chicken now.
