The difference in our shop's Cessna 172 annuals after we switched to a proper torque wrench log
We used to just sign off the torque values from memory, but after a prop strike scare on a plane from our field, we started a detailed log. In the past year, our rework rate on fasteners during inspections dropped by almost 40%. Has anyone else seen a big change from better paperwork habits?

Switched to checklists like @dylanfisher, cut our repeat squawks in half.

Absolutely. We started logging tire pressures and servicing dates for our club's trainers. Found one that was consistently 10psi low for months, nobody caught it on the walkaround. Paperwork forces you to actually look at the numbers.

Ever notice how writing stuff down makes you actually see the problem? Like my car's check engine light is on but I only looked it up when I had to tell the mechanic.
