PSA: Moving from paper tickets to the job app cut our talk time in half

Years ago, we'd all huddle around the dispatch board with paper slips and shoot the breeze. Now the app assigns jobs straight to our phones, so we roll out solo. Sure, it gets us on site faster, but I hardly know the new guys. The boss says productivity is up, which is great for business. Just feels like we lost a bit of that crew bond along the way.

Man, that reminds me of what @jordanhill said about the dumb mix-ups. We used to have a whiteboard that got erased wrong all the time, leading to some wild double bookings. Now the calendar just syncs, and we never get those funny mess-ups anymore.

That line about hardly knowing the new guys is so true. The app turned us all into efficient little delivery drones. I miss the stupid arguments over who took whose ticket by mistake. Now my only coworker interaction is a thumbs-up emoji in the group chat. Progress, I guess.

Totally man, it's like they smoothed out all the rough edges and accidentally removed the fun. Everything's just too clean now, no more of those dumb mix-ups that gave you a story to tell.
