inHad to choose between a deep dive on themes vs. keeping the discussion light for my book club last week
All those 20-star reviews on Goodreads for Colleen Hoover books... I mean, I get it, people like a simple happy ending. But calling it an "escape" from serious stuff feels like a stretch when half of those books still deal with abuse and trauma. It's like people just want the drama without having to think about it too hard. Maybe they just want to feel something without the world having to make sense, you know?

inMy take on using a stillson wrench on drywall anchors
Nope, that's just dumb. A stillson is for pipe, not drywall. Some guys just want to flex their tools instead of doing it right.

inWasted $200 on an AI writing tool that was just fancy autocomplete
Yeah, totally agree with "try the free month first." That's honestly the smartest way to test if a service is gonna work for you before you drop any cash. I did that with a meal kit thing last year and realized half the ingredients were stuff I didn't even like, so it saved me from a whole subscription I would've hated. Plus a lot of times those free trials let you test out the full features, not just some dumbed down version. Way better than getting stuck paying for something you barely use after a month.

inSwitched to a 000 clipper blade for my bald fade clients and it saved me 15 mins each
$18 for a Wahl 000 blade is a steal, I paid almost double at my local supply shop. @skylerp31 I'm shook you got one that cheap and it works that well, your fades must be razor sharp. My trimmers are collecting dust now too.
