Just hit 500 hours on my new climbing saw and the vibration is already way off
I got a Husqvarna 540i XP about eight months ago for a big oak removal job in Charlotte, and the handle started buzzing my hand real bad yesterday. The manual says to check the mounts at 400 hours, but I figured I had more time. Anyone else run into this with the electric models, or is it just mine?

Oh man, that's the mounts for sure. Just tighten them up, it's a five minute fix.

Remember that article about vibration causing early motor failure? Makes sense that catching a loose mount early matters more on these. They just don't have the same background noise to hide it.

Used to think mounts were just a wear item you replaced when they fell apart. My old 550xp went 700 hours before it started shaking. But these electric saws run so much smoother, you notice the little changes way faster. Tightened mine at 350 and it was like getting a brand new tool again.
