Swapped to a silky saw for climbing cuts and my arm is killing me

I saw all the hype online about the Silky Zubat for pruning cuts up in the tree. Figured it would make life easier, you know, less effort on the cuts. Took it up a big red oak in Austin last Tuesday. Man, that thing cuts fast, I'll give it that. But the kickback is no joke. I had to really lock in my grip. After three hours of removals, my forearm was toast. Never had that issue with my old folding saw. What's the secret to using these things without wearing yourself out?

Switching to a shorter stroke helped me a ton with the Zubat.

Three hours of removals" ... did you even take a break or were you trying to win a prize?

Three hours of removals with a Zubat? Dude. That thing is meant for quick limb cuts not all day use. No wonder your arm is wrecked.
