Switched from drip irrigation to soaker hoses after losing a whole bed of tomatoes
Used drip tape for years and kept fighting clogs and uneven watering, but one season of soaker hoses gave me healthier plants with way less hassle. Has anyone else made the switch and noticed a big difference in their garden?

Soaker hoses changed everything for me once I figured out the right setup. You really need to lay them out straight and keep the water pressure low or they turn into a mess. Another thing is to bury them under a couple inches of mulch so they don't dry out in the sun. Just remember to check them every few weeks for clogs or pinched spots. Once you get that down you barely have to touch them all season.
