Put down $600 on a infrared drying setup and it was a total scam

I bought one of those cheap infrared drying rigs off a tool truck last month from a guy I've known for years. Hooked it up on a 2018 Accord quarter panel and it barely got the filler warm after 20 minutes. Called the distributor and they said I was using it wrong, but I followed the manual step by step. Wasted a whole afternoon and had to redo the job with my old Dewalt heat gun. Anybody else get burned by one of these things?

Tossed them in the trash before they could give me trouble. Not worth the headache.
