Bought a $300 fiber optic inspection scope for a tough job

Some guys say it's a waste of money for the few times you need it, but it saved me hours tracing a broken wire in a tight avionics bay last week. What's your take on buying special tools you might only use once a year?

Read an article about how some home inspectors use those now. Makes sense for hidden leaks.
