Clipper blade broke mid-haircut on a Saturday rush.
I was halfway through a fade on a regular when my Wahl blade just snapped clean off. Had to grab my backup clippers and finish while the guy was losing patience. Anyone here ever had a tool fail at the worst moment and how did you handle the client?

How do you even snap a Wahl blade clean off? That takes some serious bad luck, man. I had a clipper cord rip clean out of the wall socket mid-taper once. Client just stared at me, I stared at the dangling cord, and I told him "guess my clipper wanted a break before I did." He actually laughed, thank god, but I still had to finish with a trimmer while sweating bullets. Best move is to just own it, crack a joke, and promise them a discount or something extra next time. If you act like it's the end of the world, they'll think it is too.
