Just realized it took me 4 hours to find a single missing episode in a series order

I was trying to binge a 10 season show on a streaming app last weekend and somehow episode 7 of season 3 was just gone from the whole lineup. After digging through three different streaming services and a random forum from 2018, I finally found it was only available as a DVD extra from some UK release. Has anyone else spent way too long hunting down one random episode that got lost in licensing limbo?

Man, check sites like JustWatch or Reelgood next time... they actually track which streaming service has what and flag missing episodes sometimes. That UK DVD exclusive thing is such a pain though, had the same problem with a Doctor Who special once. Best advice is to search the episode title plus "missing" or "banned" on Reddit archives, that's how I found a lost episode of The Tick.

Right, you gotta search the episode number plus "cut content" or "deleted." Some shows pull episodes for weird reasons like music rights or a joke that didn't age well. JustWatch is good but sometimes the episode just plain isn't on any service.
