Spent 8 hours trying to fix a forge burner that was just a clogged gas jet

Turns out a tiny spider had built a web in the nozzle and I could have solved it in 5 minutes with a piece of wire, has anyone else wasted a whole day on something this stupid?

Just asked my buddy @shane655 about this and he had a similar thing happen with his motorcycle carburetor once. Found out a bit of old gasket sealant had flaked off and blocked the pilot jet. Spent three weekends tearing the whole thing apart and cleaning everything before he noticed a tiny speck of red sitting right in the hole. Said he almost threw the bike into a creek.
