Always thought you needed a bone folder for crisp folds, but my local library's repair workshop showed me a trick.
The volunteer there just used the back of a plastic spoon on some 80gsm paper, and the crease was perfect. Found that detail in their handout about basic home repairs. What's your go-to tool for folding when you don't have the 'right' gear handy?

A plastic spoon... that's actually kind of brilliant. My whole life I've been using the edge of a ruler like a sucker. The library handout sounds way more useful than the craft blog I usually read. Might have to check if mine does something similar.

Read a whole thing about using everyday stuff for crafts. They said a plastic spoon works because it's smooth and won't tear paper like a ruler edge can. I tried it on some gift wrap and it gave a way cleaner fold. My old credit card works pretty good too for smaller stuff. Libraries are low key the best for those random life hacks.
