I changed my sewing frame setup after a customer called me out

I've been doing long stitch bindings for years with this old wooden frame I built myself. A customer came by my booth at the Philly book fair and said my spine gaps were uneven. I was kinda defensive at first, but I looked closer and she was right. So I switched to a metal screw post frame and now my sections line up way better. Anyone else had a customer's feedback totally change your go-to method?

Metal screw post frame" is actually a good call lol. I switched to a similar setup a few years ago and it honestly made a huge difference for keeping things tight. No more weird wobble in the sections.

Oh man, totally agree. I swapped out my old setup for one of those frames and it was night and day difference, no more constant retightening every time I bumped it. Honestly feels like one of those upgrades you don't think matters until you actually try it.
