Figured the '9 out of 10 viewers are bots' comment on my stream was just a troll, then I checked the timestamps

Watched my buddy go through this exact thing last month. He streams games at night, small channel, like 20 people usually. One day he gets 400 viewers out of nowhere and he's freaking out, thinking he finally made it. Then he pulls up the viewer list and every single name is just random letters and numbers, like "user48291" and "xkfjg8842". All of them joined at the exact same second and none of them ever typed a word in chat. He sat there for an hour waiting for one real person to say something. Nothing.
