Pro tip: Watch out for that new crosswalk on Bothell Way

Nearly got rear-ended at the crosswalk near Main Street last Saturday around 3pm. Drivers are slamming on brakes because they don't see the new painted lines yet. Has anyone else noticed people speeding through there without stopping?

Oh wow, 3pm on a Saturday? That's wild. I drive through that area all the time and honestly I didn't even notice the new lines until I almost did the same thing last week. People are flying down that stretch of Bothell Way like it's a highway, not a street with crosswalks. Glad you didn't get hit, that must have been scary.

Jesus, tell me about it. I was over there the other day and some guy in a jacked-up pickup damn near ran me down trying to beat the light. People treat that road like it's their own personal racetrack, I swear. And those new lines? They're so faint I practically had to squint to see them. I swear the city just paints 'em once and calls it good, never mind that they fade after a month.
