Wasted $200 on a "viral" protein powder brand from TikTok

Saw all these influencers hyping up this brand called NutriSwell, said it was the cleanest stuff on the market. Bought a 5lb tub for $60, and it tastes like chalk mixed with sand. Then I tried their pre-workout for $45 and it gave me the jitters so bad I couldn't finish my shift at the warehouse. Anyone else get burned by an overhyped social media supplement company?

The warehouse jitters must have been rough, but check the ingredient label on that pre-workout for yohimbine or high-dose caffeine anhydrous - a lot of these TikTok brands load up on cheap stimulants to make you feel something without caring about the crash later. Social media hype works because influencers get paid per sale, not per review six months down the line when your tub is still half full in the pantry. Next time, stick with brands that have been around longer than a trending hashtag and actually show their third-party testing results upfront.
