Showerthought: That $40 'apology' credit from the airline meltdown felt like a slap in the face.

They stranded me in Charlotte for two days, costing me a hotel and meals, then offered a voucher that barely covers a checked bag. Has anyone else gotten a 'fix' that just made the whole thing feel worse?

Ugh, that's the worst. I just kept calling and asking for a supervisor until they gave me actual cash back. Took forever but way better than a stupid voucher.

My cable company sent me a $5 credit after a 12 hour outage during the playoffs. It felt like they were paying me a dollar for every two hours of my life they wasted. The insult made me angrier than the original problem.
