Dropped $500 on a laser level for a big job in Boise. Total waste.

Boss insisted we needed it for a commercial build. Said it would cut our layout time in half. Thing kept losing calibration every time the sun hit it. Anyone else have a laser they actually trust on a real site?

Wait, you don't know the brand from the story? The whole thing was a rant about their constant breakdowns. That's the wildest part to me.
