Just found out how much cheaper dried beans are than canned
I was reading a food blog from a lady in Tucson and she said a pound of dried beans costs about $1.50 and makes the same as 4 cans. I always grab the cans for convenience, but that's a huge price jump. I tried cooking a batch of black beans last night and it was way easier than I thought. Has anyone else made the switch and have tips for making it less of a chore?
I saw this thing online where someone said meal prepping like that actually saves people like $200 a month on takeout. Never thought about it that way.
