Paid for a fancy travel pillow at the airport and it was a total waste

I grabbed one of those memory foam neck pillows at the Denver airport for $35, thinking it would help me sleep on my red-eye to New York. It was bulky, didn't fit right in my seat, and I ended up just using my rolled-up jacket instead. Has anyone found a good, actually comfortable pillow for long flights that doesn't cost a fortune?

My friend swears by her inflatable one from a drugstore.

Honestly miam75, that drugstore inflatable thing makes me think of travel. Like, if you're staying in a weird hotel or visiting family, you can't exactly pack a fancy pillow. It's more about the fix than the feel, you know? Your friend probably loves it because it solves a specific problem when nothing else is around. It's not about being the best pillow ever, it's about being better than a rolled up towel under your neck.

I mean, those things always feel cheap to me.
