Update: I thought those overnight bus rides across Europe were just for broke students

Tried one from Berlin to Prague for 25 euros. Slept maybe two hours, but saved a hotel night and got there at 7am. Some people say the savings aren't worth the rough sleep, but I had a full day in the city for free. What's your take on overnight transport for saving cash?

What about the weird feeling of time travel you get from it? You fall asleep in one country and wake up in another, like your brain skips the boring middle part. That disorientation becomes part of the memory itself, not just how you saved money. The blurry bus station at dawn is a different kind of souvenir.
