My emergency fund hit $5k and I feel like I unlocked a cheat code
Honestly, I never thought I'd get there because my rent in Phoenix is so high. Ngl, seeing that number in my savings account means I can finally stop stressing about my car breaking down. Anyone else get a weird sense of power from hitting a savings goal?

Feels like leveling up in real life.

Nah, I don't really see it that way. To me, leveling up means getting way better at one main thing. Being pretty okay at a bunch of stuff just feels scattered. It's like having a bunch of level 5 characters instead of one strong level 50. That combo might work for some people, but it doesn't feel like real progress to me. I'd rather go deep on one skill.

Read a cool thing about skill stacking, which is basically the real life version of leveling up. It's not about getting one skill to max level, but combining a bunch of okay ones to make something unique. Totally get what you mean, @diana20. Like learning a bit of writing, a bit of design, and a bit of marketing to make a whole new career path.
