My bullet journal got soaked in a freak sink overflow at the clinic

I was trying to salvage the pages and ended up using a hair dryer on low heat, which actually worked and didn't warp the paper too much. Now I'm paranoid and keep my journal in a ziploc bag at work. What's the weirdest thing you've had to do to save your bujo from disaster?

My old clinic in Denver had a leaky roof that got my planner once. Honestly, the ziploc bag seems a bit much for everyday use. It's just paper and ink, not a priceless artifact. I dried mine out on a radiator and moved on with my life. The weirdest thing I did was probably just buying a new one.

Notice how people treat their planners like they're part of their actual body? It's wild. Like, we get so attached to the system, not just the thing itself.
