Tried using a cheap fountain pen ink in my bullet journal and it bled through 5 pages
I grabbed a $3 bottle of 'quick dry' ink from a craft store last week, thinking it would be fine for my daily logs. The ink soaked right through my 120gsm notebook paper and ruined the spreads underneath. Has anyone found a truly affordable ink that doesn't ghost or bleed?

Ugh, never trust craft store ink.

Totally learned that the hard way last year. Ruined a whole sketchbook with some stuff that feathered like crazy.

My friend Sarah bought a bottle of black ink from a big chain craft store for like three bucks. She was working on this detailed map for a D&D game, all her coastlines were done in pencil. The second that ink hit her nice paper, it bled out in these weird spiderweb lines. It completely drowned all the tiny details she'd drawn, the whole thing was just a dark, blurry mess. She had to start the entire map over from scratch on new paper. I still feel bad for her when I think about it.
