At a startup pitch event in Denver, I saw everyone chasing the same 'disruptive' idea.
They all wanted to be the next Uber for something, but I think that model is mostly played out now. I left and focused my own small business on just doing one thing really well for local customers. What's a business trend you think has run its course?

Turning every hobby into a brand" is why my sourdough starter has an LLC now.

Totally agree with @fiona_young, that hustle culture pressure is exhausting. Feels like we're all just tired of turning everything into a job, right?

It's that whole 'hustle culture' idea that every side project needs to scale into a massive empire. In my own life, I see friends burning out trying to turn every hobby into a brand, when just enjoying the thing was the whole point to begin with. The pressure to monetize every single interest feels pretty tired now.
