Burned $2,400 on a dropshipping course from a guy in Miami and learned my lesson the hard way
Back in January I dropped $2,400 on a dropshipping course run by some guy with a rented Lamborghini in his Instagram bio. I ran Facebook ads for six weeks, sold 11 phone cases, and after ad spend plus the course I was out around $3,100 total. The real kicker was when I found the exact same "private supplier list" for free on a YouTube video from 2019. These guys make their money selling the dream, not the business, and I was the sucker who bought it. If you want to learn ecommerce, use free content and test with $100 instead of emptying your savings on a mentor in Miami. Did any of you get taken by a course like this, and how did you spot the scam before it drained you?
Man, that Lambo was probably rented by the hour and he still came out ahead on your money alone. The "private supplier list" being a free YouTube video from 2019 is just perfect, you basically paid $2,400 to learn how to use the search bar. At least you figured it out after six weeks instead of six months, so take the win where you can get it.
