Honestly, debating if we should all be doing eye exercises after staring through loupes all day. Some guys say it saves their vision, others call it a waste of time. What do you think?

Are you guys actually using 4x loupes? Because that's insane magnification to stare through for hours. Your eyes are working overtime just to focus at that distance, forget about needing extra exercises.

Heard a dental hygienist say her optometrist told her to practice shifting focus between near and far objects every hour... like looking out a window after close work. Makes sense what @jamesm48 said about the strain from high mag, so that little habit might help more than full-on exercises. She said it stopped her eyes from feeling locked up at the end of the day.
