DAE skip good coffee while camping to save time?
I always packed instant coffee because I thought it was faster. Last trip, my buddy had a little camp percolator and made a pot. The aroma alone was worth the few extra minutes. Now I get why people bother with proper brew gear in the woods. That morning cup just hits different when you're outside.

Yeah it's funny how camping flips your whole idea of time. That ten minutes waiting for the percolator isn't wasted, it's part of the morning now. You just sit there, listen to the birds, and let the smell wake you up. Makes that first sip feel like you actually earned it, instead of just slamming back some bitter instant water. Turns a basic need into a little ceremony.

Found that skipping the instant stuff and forcing myself to wait for a proper boil changed everything. Last trip, I'd just watch the steam rise from the pot and listen for the bubble rhythm. That five minutes of nothing but camp sounds and anticipation made the coffee taste ten times better, lol. It turns a chore into the best part of waking up out there.

Ever try skipping the pot, brewing straight in your cup?
