Warning: The new carpet at the Denver airport terminal is already showing wear lines
I was picking up a client from the airport yesterday and walked through the newly renovated Terminal B. They used a light colored loop pile commercial grade, but the main walkway from security to the gates already has clear traffic lane marks. It looks like the pad underneath might be too soft or the install didn't account for that much foot traffic right away. Has anyone else worked on a high traffic public space that wore in way faster than expected?

Oh man, that's just classic Denver airport luck right there lmao. Spend all that money on a fancy new terminal and the carpet gives up after a few weeks. Should've just left the old haunted horse statue, at least that thing held up. Bet they're already planning the repair work for next year.

Classic Denver airport luck" is a bit much, it's just some carpet glue (they'll fix it fast). That horse statue was falling apart too, honestly.

Saw a local news piece where they claimed the carpet glue failed because of the altitude and dry air. Typical excuse making if you ask me. That blue horse statue might have been creepy but it never needed constant fixes. Honestly feels like they cheaped out on materials to save money somewhere else. Wouldn't be surprised if the whole place needs a redo in a couple years.
