Am I the only one who double checks every receipt at the grocery store now?
Caught a cashier in Denver ringing up avocados as organic when I grabbed the regular ones, so now I stand there and scan through every line before I leave the checkout.

Caught a cashier doing the same thing with organic bananas last month. Now I just watch the screen like a hawk while they scan and speak up the second something looks off.

Honestly, "watch the screen like a hawk" feels a little intense to me. I mean, yeah, if they charged me for ribeyes when I bought bananas, I'd say something, but worrying about every single scan just sounds exhausting. Most cashiers are just zoned out trying to get through their shift, not running some kind of fruit scam.
