Why does everyone moving here swear by Lincoln Park when Logan Square has way better train access for the price?
I've been tracking rent prices and commute times for the last three months and Logan Square consistently gives you a 2-bed for what a 1-bed costs in Lincoln Park, plus the Blue Line gets you to O'Hare in 40 minutes, so am I missing something obvious about why people skip over it?

Just my luck, I moved there and the train skipped my stop for a month.

That construction timeline actually matters more than people think. My brother used to work track maintenance for a light rail system and he told me they often do soft openings for new stops where the train will still roll through without stopping for the first 30 days to let the neighbors get used to the noise. Your stop might have been in that weird testing phase and nobody bothered to tell the riders.

Nah, but have you checked if your apartment complex paid for a stop near there? A lot of those new developments cut deals with transit agencies to get one added, and if they didn't follow through the train just bypasses it completely. My cousin had the same thing happen in Raleigh for two months before he found out the HOA forgot to file the paperwork.
