Just saw the numbers on heat pumps vs gas furnaces, my mind is blown
I was looking at my city's energy rebate page in Portland and it said a heat pump can cut heating emissions by like 65% even in cold weather, I always thought they stopped working under 40 degrees. Has anyone here actually switched and seen their winter bill drop, or is it mostly just the climate win that sells it?

Same here, Portland winters are mild enough that the cold weather thing is way overblown, that 65% number got me looking into it too.
