Overheard a guy at the shop say reading comics digitally is 'lazy' and I still can't shake that opinion...
He was flipping through a beat-up copy of The Killing Joke and said anyone who reads on a tablet doesn't really appreciate the art, which got me thinking about where the line is between convenience and actual fandom, so what do you all think - does the format change how much someone values the story?

Yeah I used to get that kind of "you don't get it" crap when I first started going to gallery shows. I'd just be honest about what I liked or didn't like and people would try to school me on why I was wrong. What worked for me was just saying "well that's just what it makes me feel" and leaving it at that. Nobody can argue with your own feelings about a piece of art.
