Showerthought: I tried to get my friend into comics by giving him a full run of a modern event
Honestly, I gave him all twelve issues of that big crossover from last year, thinking the big action would hook him. Ngl, he got totally lost with all the different characters and said it felt like homework. What's your go-to single issue to give a total newbie?

Ugh, but at least with a book you can choose not to read the last page. Trailers just spoil it for everyone.

Happens all the time with movie trailers now, they just show you the whole plot.
