Can we talk about the cooking tips in the Costco recipe group?

I popped into a Facebook group for Costco meal ideas last Tuesday and saw someone suggest using their rotisserie chicken bones to make broth. The comments section had 200 replies arguing about whether you should boil it for 2 hours or 4 hours. Has anyone else seen a simple cooking tip turn into a full blown debate in those groups?

That whole "2 hours vs 4 hours" debate is a perfect example of people missing the point. The real trick is tossing the bones in a slow cooker overnight so you don't have to watch the pot at all.

Jumped into that same thread and saw people getting legit heated about "bone gel extraction times." Made me think back to the time I tried to make chicken stock and accidentally left the pot on low for like 14 hours because I fell asleep watching Netflix. The water evaporated and my kitchen smelled like a burnt chicken apocalypse for three days. So honestly the slow cooker trick is genius, wish I had that advice before I turned my apartment into a crime scene.
