Was at a wedding expo last spring and saw a stylist use a rattail comb to section off a weave without ripping the hairline like I always did

I watched her slide that comb straight through like butter, no pulling or tugging, and now I can't believe I spent 12 years doing it the hard way - anyone else pick up a basic trick embarrassingly late?

Ngl @patriciareed, wait, you're supposed to detangle first with a different comb?

Rattail combs are great but that stylist should've been using a wide-tooth comb first to gently detangle before sectioning...
