Found out most writing prompts are recycled from the 1980s

I was scrolling through a prompt list last night and recognized one from a 1987 issue of Writer's Digest I found at a thrift store. Turned out 12 out of 20 prompts on that modern site were nearly word-for-word repeats of ones from that old magazine. It's kind of depressing knowing half the 'creative' ideas floating around are just dusted off decades later. Has anyone else stumbled onto old writing books and noticed the same prompts showing up?

Dusted off decades later" lol yeah I found an 80s prompt book that literally had the same vampire love triangle stuff.
