Pro tip: that fancy subfloor adhesive isn't always worth it
My buddy Tom swore by the expensive PL Premium stuff for gluing down OSB, but on my last 2,400 square foot build in Phoenix I used the $4 a tube generic from Home Depot instead. Not a single squeak after 8 months and I saved about $120 total. Has anyone else found cheaper brands that hold up just as well?

My uncle used the cheap stuff on his garage and six months later the OSB started popping up in a couple spots near the door where it gets hot. But honestly for interior subfloor in a climate controlled house I bet the cheap stuff works fine most of the time. The key is getting enough glue down and not skimping on the beads. I learned that lesson the hard way when I tried to stretch a tube too far on my first build.

Yeah you're probably right about the interior thing. I used to think all subfloor glue was basically the same, but hearing about your uncle's garage makes me second guess that. Good call on the bead thing too @alexc93, I've definitely been guilty of trying to stretch a tube.
