Wasted $150 on a password manager that locked me out

Honestly I thought I was being smart paying for that premium password manager last year. Three months in it glitched during an update and I couldn't access any of my logins. Spent a whole Saturday on support calls and they basically said tough luck. Lost access to my email, banking, even my Netflix account until I reset everything manually. Tbh I shoulda just stuck with the free browser one or wrote them down in a notebook. Has anyone else had a paid app totally fail on them like that?

Wow, they seriously told you "tough luck" after you paid them? That is absolutely insane customer service for something that holds your entire digital life. I would have been losing my mind over losing access to my email and banking like that.

Paying for things usually just means paying for extra headaches these days.
