Hit 5k followers on a deleted post and got 3 death threats, worth it?
My screenshot of that viral copy-paste meltdown from the Denver mom group hit 5k views in 2 hours before the mods nuked it, and now I'm wondering if archiving drama is even worth the blowback. Does the rush of catching something before it vanishes outweigh the risk of getting doxxed, or should we just let dead posts stay dead?

and honestly that's what I keep coming back to every time I see these threads blow up. I read something the other day about how online drama is basically a hobby for some people, they get a rush from the back and forth but they never actually deal with the real life stuff. The headache part isn't just the notifications or the stress, it's that you can't ever really win. You post your side, someone posts theirs, and now you're stuck in this loop where you're checking your phone like it's a job. I've seen friendships end over arguments that started as a dumb comment and turned into a whole court case in the comments section. Most of the time the people involved don't even remember what started it, they're just mad about being mad. So yeah, I think if the drama isn't about something that actually matters to your life outside the screen, it's just noise and it'll chew you up for nothing.
