Found a deleted scene from my favorite 90s movie on Youtube last night that I had no idea existed

I used to just watch the theatrical cut over and over without ever knowing there was 8 extra minutes of character development that got cut. Has anyone else stumbled on a deleted scene that totally changed how you see a character?

Yeah, I actually read something the other day about how the director fought to keep those scenes in but the studio thought it slowed down the pacing. It's wild how much context gets lost when they trim stuff like that. I remember finding a deleted scene from "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" where they explain why the T-Rex is in San Diego and it made the whole movie make way more sense. Sometimes those extra minutes tell you everything you need to know about a character's motivation.

Totally feel you on that, finding hidden scenes is like discovering a whole new side to a character you thought you knew.
