Pro tip: Don't buy a $300 'pro' brush pack before checking your software settings

I spent a whole weekend painting with a new set, only to realize my pressure sensitivity was turned off in the app the entire time. Has anyone else done something this dumb, or is it just me lmao?

Oh man, that's a special kind of pain right there. You basically paid three hundred bucks to learn how to click really hard. I bet you were wondering why that "feather light touch" brush felt like you were trying to paint with a brick. At least you got some serious forearm workout in, right?

Honestly, that brush pack probably helped you focus on form and shape without pressure crutches. Some artists even turn sensitivity off on purpose to build better fundamentals. Your weekend wasn't wasted, it was a forced skill drill. Expensive, but maybe useful.

My buddy did that with a tablet, and @morgan.logan is totally right about the brick feeling.
