I spent like six months building these massive layered brush sets for my fantasy landscapes, thinking more detail meant better art. Then I watched a timelapse of an artist using just three simple brushes from the default pack and getting way more depth than me. What was the moment that made you step back and simplify your process?

Man oh man, I feel this in my bones. The trick that finally clicked for me was picking just two brushes I liked and learning every single setting on them inside out. That simple focus did more for my depth than a hundred custom brushes ever did.
