PSA: I've seen way too many people book a month in Medellin without checking the rainy season dates first.

Honestly, I just stopped trying to guess the weather there. Booked a place for a week first, a sort of test run. That way I could feel it out and then move to a different area if the rain was bad. Ended up staying in Envigado because it was drier than where I started. Way less stressful than locking in a whole month sight unseen.

The rainy season there is actually pretty unpredictable month to month.

Yeah, and it's wild how the local microclimates play into that. One valley gets dumped on while the next town over stays bone dry, all because of how the mountains funnel the clouds. Makes any long-range forecast basically a guess.
