Saw a guy in Chiang Mai get his visa renewal denied because he didn't have a physical bank statement.

He only had a PDF on his phone, and the immigration officer wouldn't accept it. I've heard this happen to three people this month alone, so always print your financial proof before you go. What's the weirdest document rule you've run into at an immigration office?

Print everything, even if it seems silly. I once had to get a bank letter stamped in blue ink, not black, or it was "not official." The rules feel made up on the spot sometimes. You just have to play their game and bring a whole tree's worth of paper. It's the only way to avoid wasting a trip.

Is it just that specific office being strict, or are they cracking down everywhere now? I printed mine last time but the officer barely glanced at it. The inconsistency is the most frustrating part.
