That time a Home Depot employee laughed at my tile layout
I was in the tile aisle in Akron measuring everything twice and this guy walks over, looks at my sketch, and asks if I'm building a maze. Ended up buying 3 extra boxes of tile because I didn't account for the pattern waste. Anyone else have a pro show up and humble your whole project mid-supply run?

Took me three returns to get it right, did you go back for different tile?

Feels like that happens with everything nowadays, not just tile. You pick something once, hope it works, then realize you should've gone with your gut instead of what looked good in the store.
