inHonestly, I was at a spa in Asheville last weekend and their approach to extractions was totally different from mine.
Longer steam sessions are a total game changer for tough skin. @kevin_harris78 is onto something with that 20 minute rule. My clients with oily skin see way less redness when I give the pores more time to soften up first. It just makes everything come out cleaner.

inQuestion about a bad dimension call on a set of commercial kitchen plans
Yeah, that's why I always try to get the actual cut sheets from the manufacturer now... even if the architect's details look good. I've been burned by outdated specs on a fridge unit before, the clearance was totally wrong. It's a pain to track down, but it saves so much headache later.

inI thought the 'Havana Syndrome' stuff was just spy novel talk until a friend got hit
Totally get what you're saying, @murphy.linda. It's like we live in a constant drip of bad news. You see it with everything, not just data stuff. A factory closes in another state and it's just a headline, but then your local plant shuts down and your neighbor loses his job. That's when the panic sets in. We're all just waiting for our own normal to get messed with.

inRant: I used to blast the AC all summer in Phoenix, but my $300 electric bill last July was the wake-up call.
Read about people painting their roofs white. It sounds weird but it reflects a ton of heat. Saw a thing where it dropped attic temps by like 30 degrees. Could be a cheap DIY project if you own the place.

inI used to think a torque wrench was just for the big bolts until a job in Boise.
That's the kind of thing that makes you double-check every pre-flight. Saw a Cessna 172 once where a fuel cap was just sitting there, not even finger-tight. Makes you wonder what else gets missed when the simple stuff is wrong. Basic checks exist for a reason, and that's a scary skip on any plane, big or small.
